I'll grab this opportunity to ask regarding the behavior of the OSX dock. do the apps when maximized cover the dock?hehe sorry for the dumb question. im thinking of getting a dock for KDE kasi im havin thoughts on that. i want something that closely mimics the real OSX dock

Just thought I'd transfer this question over to this forum, para magkalaman naman. Smiley

The "maximize" option for the Mac doesn't really act like how it is on Windows. Kasi diba sa Windows pag nag-maximize ka, hindi mo na magagalaw yung window and you can't resize it anymore. Sa Mac kasi, when you "maximize", lalakihan lang niya yung size ng window to the fullest it can be, but you can still move and resize the window. When I say "the fullest it can be", pag hindi naka-autohide ang dock mo, it will not cover the dock. And if you move the window towards the dock, it still won't be able to cover it. Bale parang naka "always on top" yung dock. Smiley

About docks for KDE, wala na akong alam diyan. Hehe Tongue

tanx for clearing that up.  Grin

regarding kasi dun sa tanong ko, madami kasi docks sa linux and im trying to figure out w/c is the best. something close to the "orig" in terms of effects and usability.hehe yung iba kasi na-cocovered ng apps yung dock w/c kinda useless. tapos yung iba naman, pag nag-maximized yung app buong screen but nasasapawan naman ng dock.

MAC section na pala to di ko napansin agad. congrats sa inyo.hehe
